More pictures from John

When John and Maria visited a few weeks ago we downloaded lots of pictures to my computer. I showed some from the fashion show. Here are some of the lake. I hope they bring back good memories of the nice weather that we won't see until next year.

Friday Night Fashion Show

John and Maria were in today. John brought his camera to upload pictures from Camp to my computer.

Here are some fashion show photos. We decided that next year we are going to put an X on the floor in tape where we want the models to stop so that John can get a picture. We have a few pictures where the models are moving and the garments are a bit fuzzy. John thought that the model had stopped and when he clicked the picture they moved. During the fashion show we encourage people to touch the garments. There are a couple of shots where someone reached out to feel as John was clicking.

We had over 40 garment in the fashion show. My knitters were very busy. Rowan also send some new garments from their fall collection for us.

It is 50 weeks until next year's Camp and it takes a long time to get 40 new garments made. My knitters have their needles clicking!!

Did Beth push Julie?

Here are some pictures from Camp that Val forwarded to me. On Saturday night at dinner, Beth offered Julie $1000 knitting dollars if Julie would jump in the lake with all her clothes on. Julie thought for a bit and with some prompting from Val, Rhonda and Lynda she decided to do it. Beth said she would jump in with Julie.

Off to the lake they went taking off their boots. I can tell by the look on Beth's face that she is trying to figure a way out of this.

They ran down the dock and then I knew that Beth wasn't going in. Beth said that two steps from the end Julie knew that she was going alone. Beth swears that she didn't push Julie but the it sure looks like it in the picture.

I am afraid to see what people are going to do next year at Camp to earn Knitting Dollars.
